THE PROBLEM

Standard leg protection wasn't built for the sport.

Three structural failures define standard leg protection.

The foot protector has one strap. After weeks of hard training, it loosens and flies off during kicks.

The shin guard has 1cm to 2cm of padding. When shins clash at full power, the shock reaches bone.

The foot protector is a glove with minimal padding. It covers the foot without protecting it.

Most athletes adjust around these failures.

We don't accept them.

The ankle strap: one strap slides off, two straps hold

STANDARD FOOT PROTECTOR

One strap. Slides off with wear.

Standard taekwondo foot protector seen from behind - a single heel strap hangs loose and unfastened, the only anchor holding the protector on

Standard foot protectors are held on by a single strap that wraps around the heel. On day one it works. After weeks of hard training, the velcro wears and the strap loosens. The foot protector shifts on impact. After weeks of training, it flies off during kicks. Your foot ends up bare exactly when you need protection most.

VS

ANTON FOOT PROTECTOR

Two straps. Never slides.

Anton foot protector worn, instep view - the second strap wrapped around the ankle joint above the heel strap

The Anton foot protector adds a second strap around the ankle joint. Two anchors instead of one. The heel strap positions the protector. The ankle strap holds it there. The protector stays secured to your foot every session. It never feels like it's sliding down. You can shake your foot. You can kick a thousand times. It doesn't move.

One strap loosens. Two straps hold. The Anton foot protector doesn't come off.

THE MECHANISM

The second strap. That's the difference.

Every other foot protector on the market is anchored by the heel strap alone. That strap works until the velcro wears. When the velcro wears, the protector loosens. When the protector loosens, it slides. When it slides, it flies off.

The ankle strap holds the protector at the joint. The velcro can wear on the heel strap and the ankle strap still keeps the protector in position. Session one, session one hundred, session one thousand - the protector stays where you put it.

PROPRIETARY CONSTRUCTION

Anton Core. Engineered padding from the inside out.

A two-layer system you'll only find on an Anton.

Anton Leg Ultra shin guard - carbon-textured shell face and Anton mark, the shell over the two-layer Anton Core padding

FOUNDATION LAYER

A refined version of standard foam with denser composition, engineered to retain shape under the repetitive load an elite training schedule delivers. It spreads impact across the largest possible surface area of the shin, dispersing the shock before it reaches the compression core beneath.

COMPRESSION CORE

A high-density compression layer beneath the foundation that absorbs the residual force the surface layer disperses. The two layers work as a system: surface spreads, core absorbs. Total padding is 3cm on the Leg Ultra shin guard - thicker than the 2cm on the Arm Ultra, thicker than any competitor product on the market. Not because thicker is better in itself, but because shin-clash impact is worse than arm-clash impact and demands more of the two-layer construction.

Anton Core is the standard across all Anton protective gear. The Arm Ultra proved the two-layer engineering. The Leg Ultra scales it up for the surface that takes the hardest hits in the sport.

The padding: 1cm generic and 2cm premium versus 3cm Anton

STANDARD SHIN GUARDS

1cm generic. 2cm premium.

IMPACT1CM GENERIC2cmSHIN

Standard shin guards use 1cm of padding. Premium shin guards use 2cm. Both are enough for controlled training. Neither is enough when you and your partner are kicking full power and your shins clash. The shock transmits through thin padding directly into the bone. You limp for a week. The injury compounds over months. Careers get shortened by padding that wasn't built for the training the sport actually requires.

VS

ANTON SHIN GUARD

3cm. Triple the generic standard.

IMPACT3cmSHIN

The Anton shin guard uses 3cm of padding. Triple the generic standard. 1.5x the premium standard. When shins clash at full power, the padding absorbs the shock before it reaches bone. You train the next session. You train the next week. You train the next season. The padding is the difference between an athlete who progresses and an athlete who spends half the year rehabbing shin injuries that shouldn't have happened.

1cm protects the training you can afford to lose. 3cm protects the training that gets you to the next level.

The boot: a glove with minimal padding versus a boot with real padding

STANDARD FOOT PROTECTOR

A glove with minimal padding.

Standard taekwondo foot protector worn with a shin guard - glove construction with each toe in its own slot and a thin layer of padding across the foot

Standard taekwondo foot protectors are gloves. Each toe slides into its own slot. The whole foot is technically covered, but the padding is minimal - almost to the point of none. When your partner's shin clashes with your foot, the padding does nothing. The impact reaches bone. When you connect with a heavy bag, the material bunches and shifts. The construction covers the foot without protecting it.

VS

ANTON FOOT PROTECTOR

A boot with real padding.

Anton foot protectors worn - boot construction wrapping the whole foot with padding across every surface

The Anton foot protector is a boot. It wraps the whole foot with real padding across every surface. Sides, instep, lateral surface, top - all protected with material thick enough to actually absorb impact. When your partner's shin clashes with your foot, padding is between the impact and you. When you kick the Arm Ultra your partner is wearing, your foot is protected. The boot construction protects the foot the glove construction only pretends to.

A glove covers without protecting. A boot protects.

Built for the way you train.

Measure the length of your shin, not its circumference. Sit with your knee bent at 90 degrees. Measure from the knee joint (bottom of the kneecap) to the ankle bone (medial malleolus). That length determines your size.

MShin length 36 - 40 cm
LShin length over 40 cm

Every Leg Ultra order ships as a complete kit. Two shin guards. Two foot protectors. One pair, one system.

Step 1: Place the shin guard on your shin. The foot protector should sit against the top of your foot.

Step 2: Secure the upper velcro strap - snug across the shin below the knee.

Step 3: Secure the lower velcro strap across the ankle area.

Step 4: Secure the heel strap under the heel, then wrap the ankle strap around the ankle joint. Both straps together are what keep the foot protector on.

Step 5: Check fit. Kick at full power. The kit should not shift. If it shifts, tighten the ankle strap.
